UNC SERC: Building a Dye-sensitized Solar Fuels Device

Do you spend your days thinking about photons and how they impact the world around you? Is light management (light capture/light conditioning) at the core of your research? Does electron transfer get you all charged up? If so, make plans to attend the UNC Solar Energy Research Center‘s (SERC) 6th annual symposium “Building the Dye-sensitized Solar Fuels Device”.

The symposium will be held October 15th-16th, 2015 at the Friday Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With over a dozen experts from across the US speaking on dye-sensitization and its role in solar fuels devices, this symposium is anticipated to draw nearly 300 attendees from across the southeastern US and beyond.

Registration is $150 (with reduced rates for post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduates). Deadline for Early Bird rates and poster abstract submission is September 15th, 2015. For more information check out SOFI’s Events page, the UNC SERC 2015 Symposium announcement, or visit the conference website.

I look forward to seeing you there!
